Bought this 11/10, Got a price adjustment. Thank you.

This TV is good for the price. If you're handy with android and tinkering, I would enable dev mode and debloat this thing.

Check out XDA or other resource for more

For mine, I did
- Disable animation speeds
- Debloat
- Change and replaced the ad filled launcher with mlauncher.
- Remap home button with Button Mapper

The results are silky smooth expience.

As for the hardware, the stands can be installed in 2 positions - one is closer to the edge and the other is closer to the center. The stands look tiny and extremely wide.

That's stupid. The top end TVs of those brands are great, but the ones this competes with in price and size are inferior to it in every way.

Yes brightness; not all tvs get bright enough to view in sdr and if they don't sandwich layers well enough you can't even see through their diffusal panel to see the content

Yea I guess if you get it and aren't sure it's for you I'd just set it up without mounting and then mount it if you decide to keep it or box it up and return

Too many trying to grab it. I actually had it in my cart and switched computers - it was removed.

Guess someone else backed out - got it into the cart again and lost it during checking. Not sure why they don't hold items when you make it to the payment step.

That likely wont happen till next years model. Its one of the best tvs this year in my opinion. I got my samsung q80a for 800 and i sometimes wonder how much better the U8G wouldve been. I think 1k for the 65 inch isnt that bad. Especially if you have a cashback card/service

You received a blow- off my dude. I've dealt with CS agents to know excuses they use due to them not supposed to say no, but also not supposed to say sure, I will open my pocket, just have a reach in there and see what you find. I can almost guarantee you will have to follow up, but kudos on getting something in writing. They are hoping some people will just forget about the price adjustment/one-time courtesy.
