Bought this 11/10, Got a price adjustment. Thank you.

This TV is good for the price. If you're handy with android and tinkering, I would enable dev mode and debloat this thing.

Check out XDA or other resource for more

For mine, I did
- Disable animation speeds
- Debloat
- Change and replaced the ad filled launcher with mlauncher.
- Remap home button with Button Mapper

The results are silky smooth expience.

As for the hardware, the stands can be installed in 2 positions - one is closer to the edge and the other is closer to the center. The stands look tiny and extremely wide.

I wish the U8G would also drop a bit.

That's stupid. The top end TVs of those brands are great, but the ones this competes with in price and size are inferior to it in every way.

Where is the $30 from, if you don't mind? I see the 10% back on that site but did not see anything about $30. Thanks.

It's a separate offer that shows up when you search for "hisense."

you can just search hisense and it will come up or enter the best buy store (not thru the 10% shop) look under tv&home theater section

No, BB isn't listed as a participating seller. Bummer.

Got mine yesterday. Very nice picture but I have a weird problem connecting Macbooks to the HDMI. I was doing this to test the TV for a few hours before mounting it. I tried
2 macbooks, 2 dongles, 3 HDMI cables, every now and then I could get one to work but most of the time "Weak or No Signal". Changing the HDMI inputs to/from "enhanced" did not help. Factory reset did not help. My old Chromecast worked fine also, only Macbooks have been a problem. The port would light in the list as being connected but did not work 85% of the time. Feels like a firmware issue.

Most of the time I'm connected to a Windows HTPC so this is maybe not a problem but perhaps worth mentioning for others particularly if the TV might be used for presentations.

Otherwise it's an impressive TV but the default choices for the picture settings (Vivid, Normal, Energy Saving, etc.) are pretty weird and need to be manually adjusted. Unless "Normal" is supposed to be "very pink".

Any chance you could help me out quick?! What is the distance from the top edge of the TV to the top VESA mounting holes? I want to install my Sanus mount before delivery and the Height Finder requires this measurement!

Sure. It appears to have a 400x300 VESA mount and the top holes are roughly 495mm (19.5") from the top edge of the TV. I have not wall mounted mine yet as I am still testing and deciding how high to mount it.
