I've bought from them many times. Hit or miss when it comes to quality of the frame but I will say pretty much all have broken eventually. They are still cheap and convenient enough for me but it does get annoying when they are not good upon receipt. Have one order out of maybe 6 where one lens was defective and had swirls or something in it.
I've had some good looking plastic/wood frames but the metal hinges eventually corroded and snapped. Still have them in case I want to repair.
Most all plastic frames have eventually broken at the temple / temple tips or the cheap coating peels off.
Lenses themselves are decent when you get coupons and add photochromic tint and all.

Were you able to apply the promo code FRIDAY72 which is for the 72% off? The displayed codes are either for 30% or 49% off. Perhaps the 72% off deal is over now. Thanks.
I have been buying my glasses from this place for literally 10+ years and suggest it to ANYONE buying new glasses. Once i even asked them about replacement lenses and they gave me a 80% off code I love these guys.

agree'd know what frames you are buying. I have multiple frames from years ago that are still together because they were all metal . Any of the plastic earpeice frames will end up breaking, as with any company that doesnt use bakelite
It's hard to say. They usually indicate that the code will expire in a day, but usually tend to extend it for days or sometimes a couple of weeks. Since this is the best discount I've seen so far, my guess is that this may not last too long. However, they were running 71-72% off promotion before this for a couple of months. I'm guessing that if you miss out on this, you'd still be able to get a pretty close deal very soon.
This company doesnt try to make more than what they need. have been buying glasses from them for literaly 10+ years. These guys are legit and awesome. They usually do have a massive discount code, and anytime they don't just ask them and they will literally make one for you.
have been using them ever since I discovered how broken the healthcare system is here. a couple of times received subpar quality glasses but they sent me replacement without any hassle. def recommend

I usually use Zenni but 72% is a lot so I decided to give it a try.
I uploaded my prescription and tried to order some glasses with photochromic lenses but that was a no go for me which was very disappointing for me. Zenni is always able to give me a photochromic option.
I had to settle with clear lenses. They were very cheap with the 72% off.
I don't expect much. I did not see a large selection of glasses and lenses as with Zenni.
Hopefully I will be surprised but if not it is a leason learned: Stick with what you know works.

+1 I have four plastic broken glasses all from the metal arm snapping at the right side hinge from them. I thought it was because they were the cheap tier and I abuse them by sleeping on my right side when I forgot to take them off at night.
If you want to go with g4u, be prepared that you will likely need a spare. They are like semi disposable glasses.

These guys for the price will make you buy a couple more sets. The lens quailty on their basic stuff is what got me, $10 a pair for some glasses that dont hurt my eyes. Cant beat that.
last post about this site. iv'e saved literally 1k+ a yr on glasses because of this place, and my local eye dr started suggesting them to other people couple of months after i told him why i didnt need anything other than measurements
goggles4u will ALWAYS get my support.
