why do people really think a $16 lifetime VPN deal is legit?

don't touch anything related to banking / finances, crypto and anything sensitive requiring a password and you will be good to go.

They will be MiTM / mining traffic data, along with your personal information... Ad injections seem also very likely, as they strive to cover bandwidth costs.

You have to be a very special kind of fool to trust some random password manager ("PassHulk" ) with your passwords, also.... https://bitwarden.com/ if you need something legit.

almost all the "VPN Reviews" are shills and untrustworthy garbage -- there are tons of them on YT & blog spam articles ridden this "BEST VPN" reviews
All these guys care about is clicking through their "special link" (or using their promo code) to get commission from a new user signup. Zero Fks are given about anything else.

If anyone is wondering, I have used the following services with FastestVPN:

1) Netflix US
2) Netflix UK
3) HBO Max
4) Disney Plus
5) Hulu

I've used Hulu on my Fire TV stick on my TV. FastestVPN has an app for Fire TV.

You get lifetime vpn. But the other 2 options are given for 1 yr only. They aren't for lifetime.

Not really. I have Surfshark and ExpressVPN too and I use them. But you can't deny this deal is really good.

I have been using this for the past year and have been keeping an eye out for another one. I cant deny its value at the price but it comes with too many issues (constant dropping of connection).

I switched to Fastest a couple of years ago and have gotten at least a couple of flags from my ISP provider. Fastest has a habit of dropping randomly. I know you can turn on the kill internet switch but recovering from the kill can be a PIA.

Having said all that I think I got my monies worth for the little I paid. You pays your money and you makes your choice.

Do they not support OpenVPN or WireGuard configs which you could use to setup on your own? With a kill switch also setup you should be fine and not have this problem?

Tried it, was very slow connections to all US servers I tried. Had to spend 15 minutes on a chat arguing to get my refund which will be processed in "up to 15 days" which is some BS. Save yourself the hassle, don't bother with them.

I googled and it seems they do not support WireGusrd, which is a deal breaker for me.

Have been using fastest VPN since last "lifetime" deal and haven't had any issues. Basic web surfing and streaming works fine for me. Download torrents every now and then without issues. Speeds slows down but what VPN doesn't?

I use these guys. The app is kind of shitty but they're decent if you find a good server to connect to.
