Quote from deal_receiver :
I purchased it last year and then never used it. Day and night difference from Windscribe. FastestVPN is extremely slow (surprised?). Biggest issue is that server location is spoofed - they are all located in California (revealed by IP route hops, or https://whatismyipaddress.com/). It is completely useless for switching locations.
When I log into the Switzerland2 UDP server my one and only location is Zurich, Switzerland. DNS leak test says the same.

Don't buy this, I have a membership and don't even use it because it should be named slowest VPN. Disconnects randomly and is slow as hell.

This business model only works long term if they're monetizing my metadata. No thanks. If it looks too good to be true ...

Real world speeds when Cox Internet is providing 150 Mbps down, 10 Mbps up. I never get above 100 Mbps down because my house is wired with 20+ year old Cat 5 wiring.

Las Vegas, NV to Zurich, Switzerland using Speedtest.net:

Ping: 172 ms
Download: 33.11 Mbps
Upload: 3.97 Mbps

The above results were on my laptop. Here are the results on my Win10 PC:

Ping: 176 ms
Download: 53.81 Mbps
Upload: 4.12 Mbps

Do anyone know if this VPN have logging? I use a VPN to protect my identity and at this price I feel like they might be logging my activity.

Wow. Normally $600? What a deal! 🙄

I have a lifetime subscription to them from a previous deal. They are not the fastest and I think I've even had some connectivity issues with a few of their servers, but if you need a VPN and are not picky, then this is fine. Just understand that this is a "you get what you pay for" subscription. Personally I have since moved on to a lifetime VPN unlimited subscription for my VPN needs and I have found it to be a bit better overall than this one.

Purchased this couple of years ago for around the same price, nothing but trouble using it. No internet to the slowest 2G speeds after sometimes using it. Looks good on paper with the tag of "Life Time", yeah if you use it.

I recommend windscribe. I've been using for several years now every day for work and play.

Don't buy this. I still haven't received my refund after 3 weeks. Their support kicks the can down the road.

Lots of comments about how slow FastestVPN is without really defining "slow." Considering one man's slow is another man's fast, do your own speed tests on speedtest.net. The FCC defines high-speed Internet as 25 Mbps for download and 3 Mbps upload. I get over double those speeds from a FastestVPN server in Switzerland, 5,700 miles from Las Vegas. See my previous post.

If two times, 200% faster, than the FCC's definition of high speed Internet is too slow from a server in Switzerland, all I can say is there must be a lot of people who never experienced dial-up speeds.

A good many people on SD don't even have an ISP who can deliver 50+ Mbps locally, let alone from a server in Switzerland. If you can't hit 50+ locally, then you are never going to get any faster somewhere else than your highest local speed.
