I've used Hulu on my Fire TV stick on my TV. FastestVPN has an app for Fire TV.
I find that my download connection speeds are fine when connecting to a relatively nearby location. I had connectivity issues when connecting to another country, so didn't bother trying again.
Via the USA access point, I get download speeds up to 30-40 Mbps, which is fine!
(I have fiber internet, so the bottleneck is not my local pipe...)
