All these guys care about is clicking through their "special link" (or using their promo code) to get commission from a new user signup. Zero Fks are given about anything else.

Also... I have an nvidia shield... so is there a google play app for that?
EDIT: I just used reset password. Never received a separate email for username and pwd.
And when I had a problem (couldn't stay connected for more than 24 hours) the help desk got back to me within about 2 hours and solved my issue.
All in all, pretty good experience for $16. Perhaps others are better, but this one isn't bad.

I most often connect to servers in LA, and I've had pretty good speeds since '17.
I just tested it w/ a 1 GB file, and it was averaging 10-20 MegaBYTES per second. That's pretty fast. In fact, faster than a lot of services will let you download from them. P2P is usually limited by the sharers, not by your max internet speed.
I've NEVER had issues w/ P2P or other stuff. and I have multiple ISPs and none of them have ever warned me or cut me off.
However, I do use SurfShark for financial stuffs. As others have said, we don't really know who owns this (BUT at least they're not giving my info to DMCA or ISP!).
It works as a VPN, torrenting speed for me is about 2mb/s downloading.
It WILL disconnect from the server often.
Not every server works, need to try find one works for you.
Sometimes the internet kill switch is buggy and it WILL kill your internet without the app turned on. When that happens, it is really annoying.

I use this only for streaming, but if I had to use for public wifi or financials, I would use a more reputable vpn.
