why do people really think a $16 lifetime VPN deal is legit?

don't touch anything related to banking / finances, crypto and anything sensitive requiring a password and you will be good to go.

They will be MiTM / mining traffic data, along with your personal information... Ad injections seem also very likely, as they strive to cover bandwidth costs.

almost all the "VPN Reviews" are shills and untrustworthy garbage -- there are tons of them on YT & blog spam articles ridden this "BEST VPN" reviews
All these guys care about is clicking through their "special link" (or using their promo code) to get commission from a new user signup. Zero Fks are given about anything else.

I've used Hulu on my Fire TV stick on my TV. FastestVPN has an app for Fire TV.

If you care at all about privacy and security, do not buy these lifetime VPNs. These are soloely for pirating torrents and hiding from your ISP. They could likely sell this VPN to you for free and live directly off the massive amount of logging they do on your IP. They only include a price to sucker people into thinking they are scoring a deal. They get to have their cake (collect insane data like a free VPN would) and eat it too (and make the free VPN paid)

OMFG - seriously? Because the data you're torrenting flows through it. If the server is fast, faster torrenting. If your servers are all overseas, most likely they will be much slower due to the hops to get there.

I bought this to use some streaming services that are exclusive to India and am having a horrible experience.
Speeds are around 10kbps. Didn't try any other servers.

Nevermind. VPN torrent server matters because all your data will be routered through it, not only those meta info.

FastestVPN website listed that they have servers in Hong Kong, Korea, and Japan. However, I would like to have a VPN that has a server in Taiwan. VPNSecure used to have that and not anymore.

Any suggestions oh wise one.

A good VPN for tethering should not reduce speed for IKEv2 or SoftEther and should:
-have good communication (e.g., forums),
- use only RAM (no HDD),
- state their geolocated server locations,
- allow all traffic except port 25 (P2P should not be blocked),
- allow ports forward.

What are you guys using? Is FastVPN good with the above?
I am thinking using it for tethering with visible.

They had multiple India servers last time I checked. The first one was slow like you mentioned but the second one was great! I set it up thru windows vpn and just verified that it still works. Got 100+mbps on it. PM me if you need help trying that.
