Do not trust anything with fastest / best / pro / etc in their branding ...especially contractors

For those who want to replace the default Windows Fastest VPN manager with a much more robust option - Eddie VPN client:
Eddie:

Configure Eddie with non-AirVPN:

FastestVPN *.ovpn files (use the ones for Android):

The generic UI is not yet enabled by default, use Preferences -> Advanced -> Multi-provider support. In "Providers" screen, click the pencil to edit for FastestVPN settings such as password.

Torrents seem to work, but do not have any incoming ports. So you will download only from those who have their ports open for incoming connections.

don't touch anything related to banking / finances, crypto and anything sensitive requiring a password and you will be good to go.
They will be MiTM / mining traffic data, along with your personal information... Ad injections seem also very likely, as they strive to cover bandwidth costs.
You have to be a very special kind of fool to trust some random password manager ("PassHulk"

almost all the "VPN Reviews" are shills and untrustworthy garbage -- there are tons of them on YT & blog spam articles ridden this "BEST VPN" reviews
All these guys care about is clicking through their "special link" (or using their promo code) to get commission from a new user signup. Zero Fks are given about anything else.
1) Netflix US
2) Netflix UK
3) HBO Max
4) Disney Plus
5) Hulu
I've used Hulu on my Fire TV stick on my TV. FastestVPN has an app for Fire TV.

It is also equally possible that there are those on SD who work for the entertainment industry, or the software industry, or a government agency, that want to discourage anyone from being able to hide their identity and will say anything to discourage people from getting any VPN whatsoever. Especially a VPN like FastestVPN that is based in the Cayman Islands, whose privacy laws put FastestVPN beyond the reach of those entities.

When it comes to government agencies, anything is possible. Anyone paying attention is well aware of what any government is capable of. That's one of the reasons why people need a VPN. Maybe the biggest reason.
HTTPS? Just so anyone on SD doesn't get the wrong idea, HTTPS does not have the same benefits as a VPN. In other words, HTTPS is secure. It's great for financial transactions. But it's not a VPN. They are different animals.

I saw this article [nbcnews.com] the other day. I wouldn't blame someone for coming away from that article thinking that HTTPS has made VPNs snake oil.

So, according to this NBC article, a VPN is not needed. But then goes on to claim a VPN is needed when HTTPS isn't sufficient. Pretty much what current "news" passes for at NBC these days. But what the heck. They got some people to click their clickbait, resulting in more ad revenue. NBC gets richer and we're none the wiser. Unless, of course, you learn to recognize and avoid clickbait when you read the headlines.
[Edit] In case anyone misses my original point about the entertainment industry, et al., NBC hates the fact that people have access to VPNs and willingly publishes misleading articles.
You will also need to download the ovpn files on the FastestVPN website. Pick the countries/servers you want to use after downloading and email them to your phone's native email app. Import into OpenVPN from there.

I prefer windscribe and Nord but this one works for now at least
Edited to add: since I'm using OpenVPN now to run FastestVPN servers, it could be a limitation of OpenVPN that's causing IPv6 to be detected. Using the FastestVPN client software (for windows, at least) may have automatic blocking of IPv6. However, I do not recommend FastestVPN's truly crappy proprietary software for reasons I've stated earlier in this topic and still encourage people to use OpenVPN and just be sure to disable IPv6 manually as mentioned above.

I have used OpenVPN since getting FastestVPN a year and a half ago. The first thing I do is to check a new VPN connection with https://browserleaks.co
