Great find. Bought last year for full price. Used it a full year till it finally crapped out. Most of those beard trimmers die in a month or so it seems. This one was great. Plastic piece was solid too and didnt crack unlike others.

Mine recently did the whole "turned on by itself, wouldnt turn off..now broke" that you hear a lot with the phillips beard trimmers. But it took a whole year and i think it happened due to getting it wet (not supposed to do).

Also nice to not have to have 20 different attachments in the drawer.

Most of these Norelco trimmers are useless if you have a thick beard. Try a Panasonic instead

In for one. We usually get them for free through a friend, but decided to just actually buy one. We have a couple of an older version of this that is a different battery formulation, and no longer holds much charge.

Is the blade washable? Do you find the lower trimmer settings to be sharp?

Same price directly through the Philips site, but you can apply a 15% off welcome code with email signup. Philips is also 7% cash back on a popular CB site.

Have to remove blade to wash. But yes it is.

Without the guard on, it can knick your skin easily. If thats what you mean. It works well for me.

Is this wet dry or dry only. Another deal going on Panasonic gb42 which is wet dry but that one lasts 10 mins less on one charge

I cancelled the Panasonic 30$ & got this one for 18. Guess it is dry only compared to panasonic wet dry option but that's a difference of 12 bucks

Just a heads up, my beard trimmer crapped out a few weeks ago and all 3 trimmers I ended up ordering/returning through Amazon we're used with someone else's hair on them. I ended up ordering directly from a different website and the 1st trimmer came brand new. Apparently Amazon isn't filtering returns and just sending them back out, so I'd be leary.

I've gone through a few of the 7000 series with the vacuum but just went ahead and ordered this model. Can always use an extra for the cabin.

We have 4 norelco products from 13 years ago and they're all running fine. It seems the new products break within a year or two
