You can use the price chart to see available dates. Looks like 1/6-1/11 is $103.30 one way, actually most of January and many others days. $99 are during 2/9-2/10. 2/14-2/16, 3/4-3/5.

PSA: Watch out for super crazy high rates on rental cars everywhere. Like 2x or 4x of normal rates.

Message me to rent my Car on Turo, I rent to tourists, i live near Waikiki laugh out loud

Quote from Dalico :
Car Rentals have been high for some times. Rental companies sold their extras when coved got back and have low inventory
Rates are even higher here in Hawaii cause last year in the middle of the pandemic our Governor basically shutdown the state to tourism and the big car rental companies sent their cars off island (im assuming back to the mainland). Starting this summer our state opened back up to tourism and we had almost record numbers of visitors....the rental car companies was caught off guard and many of their cars were still in the mainland, hence we had high demand for rental cars and a low supply of cars available on the islands. People were paying as much as $500 a day for a rental car. I know i made a killing this past summer renting out my run-of-the-mill 8 year old car for $100 a day on Turo

FYI for any out there for whom this may impact the desirability of this deal.

Just makes Hawaii that much more desirable, imo. Who wants to be around a bunch of selfish plague rats while enjoying a nice dinner? Not me, that's for sure.

I couldn't find a single 79 dollar fare but I hope someone days!

Edit: Also good luck finding somewhere to stay that isn't stupid priced in Hawaii ATM.
Just returned from Kauai. Stayed in two different really nice condo Air B&B's, ocean view and only about $180/night. Very affordable. They both had full kitchens which saves you a ton of money overall when you can shop at Walmart.

We do Turo when we go. Rates weren't bad at all. Also, you can find someone with several listings and contact them and ask if they have any. 'Ineligible' cars for hire. Turo doesn't allow cars older than 10 years. We rented a 2009 Camry for $60/day for a week and it was great.

This is not really a deal. PHX to HNL is $280 to $300 on a regular basis. $129 x 2 = $258. Not to mention fees they probably add on, you're essentially saving $20-40 on bad travel dates they pick.
$300 round trip?

Yup, I subscribe to a travel deal notification and I see Hawaii almost every month. It was not as frequent before covid, but for the last 1.5 years they show up alll the time

If humans keep viewing others as subhuman, eventually they'll start acting like the others are subhuman too.

I swear, you never find anything from the northern midwest to any of these nice places :/
That's because the flight is halfway around the earth. Just go to someplace closer like Cancun or Florida.

Stayed last week at queen Kapiolani which is in Honolulu, the expensive island, for like 160/night. Pano views of Diamondhead from the room🤷 ♂️
