A whole page full of advertising and not once does it indicate what type of panel it is. Must I assume TN? With that contrast ratio I assume it's not IPS. I frequently see curved monitors promoted to the gamers among us. Do the same benefits apply to business work, word processing, browsing, spreadsheets?

So dumb how manufacturers obviously INTENTIONALLY hide the panel type. No shot its IPS at this price point, probably VA.

I have a Samsung G5 27" Odyssey. It has 1000R.
I know it's the monitor bc when I turn it on the headache comes instantaneously.

Google 'curved monitor headache' and you'll see I'm not only one experiencing them.
It has something to do with our 'normal' way we see the world and seeing it in
curved or fishbowl like displays conflicts with the way our brains see things.

Take what I'm saying for what it is but imo curved monitors can cause debilitating conditions for your body.

I have the Costco deal on the 34 in curve and it's about 1800. I occasionally gets headaches when gaming or working on it too long. I think there's some truth behind the curve headaches.

Curved monitors simply push the edges inside of your field of view. Unless you're sitting at a weird angle, there's nothing intrinsically different about how you see the screen or how your brain processes it. Curved screens (especially the bigger ones) are in fact much more ergonomic than flat monitors, even those with better panels. Particularly when you go above 27 (say 32 or 34 inches or beyond that). Anything 27 or smaller with a curve may not be pleasant to work with, depending on the curvature.

Thanks. I also have a Gigabyte 34 inch ultra wide with similar experiences.
Again I'm not saying this can happen to everyone. Going back to flat panels
is the only option for me.
