But the $70/month for basic unlimited plan is the deal breaker. I pay $25/month for unlimited with Visible on Verizon's network. So I'd be paying $45 more a month for 30 months for phone service. That's $1350 more, which negates the phone discount by quite a bit.
Might be a good deal for someone who already stomach's the painful cost of the Verizon plan. Not for me.

I just received shipping confirmation last night on the Pixel 5a from the $399 unlocked deal earlier in the week, which comes to about $16 per month I think. Seeing this deal now, I just went to see what I could get for my monthly payment when trading in my Pixel 3 and it shows $15 per month, $1 less per month than my 5a.
With that said, there seems to be quite a few complaints about the Pixel 6 bugs, which I'm sure is typical of a brand new phones and will probably be fixed shortly, as well as the lack of a fingerprint reader like previous Pixel phones.
1. If the phone screen is cracked (touchscreen is compromised), do I still get full credit as long as the battery is fully functional with no issues?
2. If I do this on one of my upgradeable lines and plan to transfer to one of my other lines, do I need to initiate the phone with the sim card of the upgradeable phone first, before swapping in the other sim card, or is this step unnecessary?
I bought an S9 with a cracked screen on eBay tonight for ~$80 and the seller was kind enough to send me the IMEI number when I asked for it. Everything went smoothly. There were check-boxes during the trade-in phase where I selected the damage the phone had. I reported that it had a cracked screen, and I was still able to get the full $440 (pending sending it in to Verizon for inspection).
I made sure to buy a Verizon Galaxy S9, but I did notice that on the trade-in page it had a pull-down box where I could select which carrier the phone was from (had all the big ones and "other"), so maybe it doesn't have to be a Verizon phone to get the trade-in credit.
The 6 Pro 512gb shows back-ordered, and is estimated to ship Jan 6. Oh well, I've already been waiting since Oct 20, it won't kill me to wait a little more. I was hoping to have it over the holidays to use as a camera when I'm attending Christmas events, but it's worth it to save $640.

I'm speaking to all - can someone tell me how a person who is on slickdeals and sees all the visible, mint mobile, red pocket, metro, cricket etc still signs a contract like this deal right here on Verizons best most reliable most expensive most taxed plan ? What am I missing here? Is my calculator different than any of yours? Why am I buying a pixel 6 for 550 at best buy and matching it to the mint mobile buy 3 get 3 plan? Why should I do this deal instead?

I cracked my Pixel 4a screen this week and was considering replacing the screen for $140+ or more for a new phone. It's paid off from a deal back in May this year ($300 for an unlocked 128gb). I'm already with Verizon so this saves me $80 while upgrading to a newer model (pixel 6 128gb). Glad I saw this before spending more : )

"The device is free of cracks and the screen is functioning correctly (both front and back, if applicable)."
I have a cracked screen with screen still functioning so I did not check this box while checking the 3 other boxes (activation lock is turned off, device can be powered on, device is free of battery damage). The estimate still showed me the full $440 off. It'll be subject to inspection once they receive the old phone, but fwiw, I believe Verizon will give you the full amount with the screen not functioning since it's spelled out in the question.
If not the Best Buy at $550 and mint mobile (choose your data needed for each member) I'm certain a family of five all don't use or need unlimited.
And don't get me started on your comment about "the most reliable network" AT SUCH A HIGHER COST.
That's a totally different can of worms. Do you really NEED your connection to be 99% efficient and pay more for Verizon when mint uses tmobile 85% efficientcy connection? Is that 99% efficiency worth the extra cost per line over 85% efficientcy? But the masses say you do. But do you? Think not my fellow deal seeker.
