The promo for the standard lineup gives a FREE 4 Ah battery and charger, ending 4/30/2022.

The promo Profactor line includes an 8 Ah battery and charger, but ends earlier 12/29/21.

Bosch 18v battery packs are compatible across the entire Bosch line of 18v tools.

Lowes coupons can be had online for a few bucks. Could bring the final price down by $10 to $20

edit: wait a sec... I may see a deal thats been OOS a while...

double edit: it is!!! The (Best on the Market) ProCore 8ah battery comes with the (Best on the market) Profactor impact wrench.

That's a really good deal. Just buy a Brace for your wrists.

(Still sad there were no 12ah ProCore deals this year... I'm stocked on 8ah but want a few 12's.

These aren't black Friday deals, they've been going for months. A lot of the Bosch 12v tools come with a 12v battery, and some 18v tools come with a 18v core battery. Plenty of tools not listed in OPs post.

The 18v core batteries retail at Lowes for nearly $100 on their own, so it can be worth it, but you can get them for $50 or less brand new on eBay.

DeWalt all day. 7 1/4 will cut 2x lumber at angles. Rafter hook and LED are nice too. Way more power makes quicker work of framing jobs, etc.

That said, I use this exact Bosch model (CCS180B) far more frequently, for exactly two reasons: 1) it's small and light enough to toss in a little bag while permanently mounted to a saw guide plate, 2) it's a left-handed sidewinder model, and I find it way easier to see what I'm doing on lefty vs righty saws.

That means I can use it with a straight edge to do rough breakdowns of full size melamine and plywood in parking lots to fit in my SUV. Just had to buy a decent 6 1/2" panel goods blade. Lol

In the end, "better" depends on what you need!

I quite like it. The ergonomics and vibrations are far more comfortable than the other popular brands' cordless models. No complaints about the function. Comfort was my main concern. You'd think with this design that the battery would really throw it off balance, but it doesn't, and this design allows the part you grip to be more comfortable, like a corded one.

What do you use an 18V sander for? I'd think the battery would be dead in <10 minutes? I have quite a few Bosch 18V batteries, but never saw the point of the sander?
