The Inspiron line is Dell's consumer line and comparable to everything under HP's Spectre. The Inspiron 7000 series is their highest end of Inspirons, and probably most comparable to HP's Envy line with more metal used in the chassis and some other premium features. (XPS ~ Spectre > Inspiron 7000 ~ Envy > Inspiron 5000 ~ Pavilion > Inspiron 3000 ~ "HP Laptop") I haven't researched this particular model, but that would be my guess based on their usual numbering system.
It's not really a fair comparison comparing a 2-in-1 Inspiron 7000 series with HP's bottom of the barrel "HP Laptop", even if a lot of specs are similar. There are definitely corners cut elsewhere.

Notebook check to ruin your dreals...I was going to go get that hp deal and deck it out but then I read about the build quality and like user said you have to cut price else where and certainly the 250 nit screen and build quality was a drag
You get what you pay for. Want bt 5.0 +20 dollars.
There is no good use case... And the unit don't include a pen for drawing etc.
I got one of these touch screen laptop and it was cool at first and as time goes, I never touch the screen again.
