I don't know, the $550 base model is pretty good. $200 extra for 256gb more ssd is a waste fyi

Sounds pretty bad when you say it out loud, $200 for only 256gb? Baha

I hear ya, but that's also just Apple (and you can't DYI internal harddrives on a Mini anymore, not without a lot of effort and risk). So if anyone wants needs this config, this is the best price there is.

I nabbed the Mac mini M1 16GB / 512GB SSD for $949 ($150 off) from BH Photo on Black Friday. It doesn't look like they still have that deal, but they are still discounting the minis.
