The problem is it's hard to read at night with these new Kindles since the back light ruins the entire e-ink experience by bleeding through the text
Amazon should have stayed with a more advanced front light like they did in their first edition that way light would reflect off the e-onk instead of bleed through it's a horrible compromise and does not look good at all

The new paperwhite are still using a front light. Not a backlight.

Not sure what you're going on about but the lighting system hasn't been changed. The new Paperwhite brings the total number of lights in line with the Oasis but has not changed the manner in which they're lit. Moreover, the Signature edition auto adjusts the lights to account for the ambient lighting of the room.
Another issue is that there is now a flat panel over the actual eink display. There is a small game between these panels which causes blurriness due to focus issues with your eyes not knowing exactly where to focus.

Um, no. Again, these changes aren't new. The Paperwhite has had a flush panel since 2018.
