Is this a good model?

And slick dealers have this one?

Seems like it uses non standard filters?

I really don't understand these units vs. a traditional RO unit? I guess maybe the filters are easier to replace and that's the fad?

I also see reviews that these are prone to leaking which could happen to a traditional unit... but it's super rare.

4 thoughts.... I read in the reviews 1) why would they put the power plug under the water connections (gravity is a B*tch sometimes) .. 2) replacement filters coming soon (ok fingers crossed).. 3) replacement filters at what price (major issue of unknown costs).. 4) a lot of other types like this need NO POWER (could be an issue for some installs).. deal seems nice for this type of product BUT too many unknowns and the lack of replacements parts, cost and availability.. Pass for now... OP I will say it made me look! Thanks.
