If you use the UKF8001 style filter, and you start having slow flow from the water dispenser that you can't fix it with a new filter, I discovered some filters make the mounting flange a little thinner. Also sometimes the mounting 2 press pins wear a bit, combined these cause the slow flow. A new filter fixes it for about a minute (if at all), then you think the new filter is crap. After trying a 2nd new filter, you get the idea it's not the filter.

The normal fix is to call for service, and they replace the mount. For $80 in parts (or more now) and the service call charge. I found a cheap DIY fix, and made a youtube. Cost to fix using this is $2 or less.

When I check my SAMSUNG model( RF263BEAESR) it says that they are not SURE if it fits the model and to check product for description. Has anyone used this effectively to replace the SAMSUNG 3 door refrigerator ?

Type in your model in the search. Especially if you are getting the "not sure" in the compatibility field (means no) My model is the Samsung RF28T5101SG/AA and these came up as a Black Friday Deal. Looks like a bunch of different models and filters are included in this Black Friday Sale.

Read many as well. Certifications are nearly non-existent. Don't trust the otherwise high ratings because of this.

I think part of the reason with the readings is that those TDS ones don't work well in areas with hard water. Its in the fine print of the manual. I have one - and no longer use it because I have hard water.
