It's probably not just going into a flat envelope, so it's probably a first class parcel which starts at $4.30 before USPS business/service discounts... so it's likely about a 2x markup on actual shipping cost.

I sold some pi zero boards a few years ago. The cost to ship one Pi Zero board first class was between three and four dollars. It is not less than one dollar.

Cheers, picked one up. FYI for others, cheapest shipping was $6.38. I ended up picking up a few other things so it was worth it. I used promo code FIRSTORDER to save a few cents, note that this promo code does NOT apply to the Pi Zero W 2, but should be good for 10% off other things

Real cost of shipping is less than $1. Have you actually shipped anything since 1999 ? Please support your ignorant allegation with a shipping method. Do you suppose they will put it in a #10 envelope and put a stamp on it (in violation of USPS rules) ?
