I couldn't decide between this and the one without the 4k screen. Side by side at the store, the 4k screen definitely looks better but it was a couple of hundred more and I didn't feel the loss in battery life was worth it with the 4k screen so I bought the model without it.
My laptop without the 4k screen doesn't get anywhere close to the hours Lenovo says it will so I can't imagine how fast the battery drains on the 4k model. I believe Lenovo states it gets 2 hours less than the non-4k screen model.
One other note about this laptop is the trackpad is glass and it blends in with the palm rests. It's hardly visible. I liked the feel of it when testing it out in the store but most people complain about it in reviews.
Lot of reviews out there by now so do your research before buying.
One last comment - this is an amazing price for these specs with this build quality. For those saying wait for the new Intel processor, if you wait, you won't get this type of deal on it until next year. And the "wait until the next…" crowd will be saying the Alder Lake version sucks, what you really need is to wait for the (fill in the blank) version.

I purchased 4K version of this laptop last year for $1349 and I love the 4K screen. Full charge battery lasting for 4-5hr. I am ok with battery life, I love 4k screen clours and brightness. My model no 82D2000BUS 4K with 500nits HRD 400 . 999$ is good deal
BTW, Isn't enabling chrome extension for these cashback sites does not make your card details or login details a little insecure?
What is preventing the cashback sites like the one ending in "ten" to sniff card details, personal login details for other website and use or sell it.
I was little scared here. Looks like "ten" is quite matured and should not do this though. Barcelona Football Team is sponsored by "ten" for christ sake! So they are big player I think.
