Does anyone know if $20 unlimited talk/text and no data plan will work for this?
I would like an answer to this question too

I combined this offer and 720$ BOGO for iphone 13. Got them for very cheap with this offer.

existing tmobile so upgraded one line amd added one new line to get two iphone 13 with 720$ rebate.

then added two more lines (BOGO on lines if you are on magenta) so eligible for. 300$ * 2 costco cards.

i paid around 1550$(with taxes) for two iphones and you get total 1320$ rebate so 230$ for two iphone 13

you need to pay tmobile for two lines and keep it till you get all rebates
I did this same thing in October, except for an additional $100 shop card with the B1G1!

Do I need to be a Costco member to get this deal or I can use a friend's Costco membership for this?

Here's what I learned after doing this same BYOD deal with a BOGO free line back in March(?) of this year:

It takes one YEAR before you can drop the paid line, but you can keep the free line when you do. Sounds easy, right?

If you are a "deal" loving person, there is a catch.

All "new line" promotions you sign up for AFTER this one will include the same provision that you maintain the same number of lines for a year. No biggie, but they OVERLAP. I'm waiting for my 1 year to be up in March '22 so I can cancel my paid line from that March '21 BOGO. However, theoretically, if TMO offers a line-on-us or some similar deal during December '21, and I take it, THAT new line also has it's own requirement to maintain the same number of lines as I had the moment I took it. Otherwise, I lose the that December '21 line. So March '22 will come around, and I can finally cancel the old March '21 paid line. But canceling that paid line means my total line count dropped by 1, which means I violated the "same number of lines" requirement for the DECEMBER deal, which is now short a line from when it started. I'm not sure if they take the December one away, or add a paid line.

Sorry I can't explain this more clearly.

My plan is simply to never do a BOGO if my intention is to later cancel the paid half.

If you are porting in, or already need to add lines, you probably don't have to worry about what I've said.

So I just got back from Costco, and the rep signed me up for the $20 talk and text only plan. I asked for the Essentials plan, but she offered me this instead for some reason. She said it qualifies for the $300 card, and she printed out the paperwork for the card and gave me instructions for it. So I wasn't planning on getting this plan, and since it doesn't have any data, I don't want to port my actual numbers over. So if I just activate both numbers but don't keep them in my main phones, it should still qualify for the $300 cards as long as I keep the accounts open, right?

Strangely enough, data still seems to work on this plan, at least for web browsing. Does anyone know if maybe this plan allows for data at lower speed?

Is this also true for non BOGO lines? As in what if I add two new lines to get $300 gift card per line, and cancel the lines after gift card?

Can I switch using this promo and then switch my lines to the corporate plan with my employer? Or is there a restriction that you need to be on some expensive plan for certain period
You need to keep the lines active on the account for 90-120 days.

Is there a minimum service period requirement where if you cancel before that time they charge the $300 promo back to you like one of the $500 deals had recently?

1) You don't need 2 Costco accounts (I don't know if Costco allows two simultaneous accounts with same name and address)

2) you can sign up for one T-Mobile account with 4 new lines and two BOGO promotions (4 phones in total) and get two $720 credits (if that's what you intend to do with 4 lines)

Thanks, what I meant to ask was do you need to be on whatever plan they activate for 90-120 days or can I move my line to my employer's corporate plan after activation.
