existing tmobile so upgraded one line amd added one new line to get two iphone 13 with 720$ rebate.
then added two more lines (BOGO on lines if you are on magenta) so eligible for. 300$ * 2 costco cards.
i paid around 1550$(with taxes) for two iphones and you get total 1320$ rebate so 230$ for two iphone 13
you need to pay tmobile for two lines and keep it till you get all rebates
It takes one YEAR before you can drop the paid line, but you can keep the free line when you do. Sounds easy, right?
If you are a "deal" loving person, there is a catch.
All "new line" promotions you sign up for AFTER this one will include the same provision that you maintain the same number of lines for a year. No biggie, but they OVERLAP. I'm waiting for my 1 year to be up in March '22 so I can cancel my paid line from that March '21 BOGO. However, theoretically, if TMO offers a line-on-us or some similar deal during December '21, and I take it, THAT new line also has it's own requirement to maintain the same number of lines as I had the moment I took it. Otherwise, I lose the that December '21 line. So March '22 will come around, and I can finally cancel the old March '21 paid line. But canceling that paid line means my total line count dropped by 1, which means I violated the "same number of lines" requirement for the DECEMBER deal, which is now short a line from when it started. I'm not sure if they take the December one away, or add a paid line.
Sorry I can't explain this more clearly.
My plan is simply to never do a BOGO if my intention is to later cancel the paid half.
If you are porting in, or already need to add lines, you probably don't have to worry about what I've said.
Strangely enough, data still seems to work on this plan, at least for web browsing. Does anyone know if maybe this plan allows for data at lower speed?

2) you can sign up for one T-Mobile account with 4 new lines and two BOGO promotions (4 phones in total) and get two $720 credits (if that's what you intend to do with 4 lines)
