If you are new to drones, I'd stick with Mini 2 to begin with. See how much you are actually going to use it and what your use cases are. If you are flying mostly during the day, and you don't need obstacle avoidance too much, Mini 2 is probably all you need.

I currently have Mini 2, Air 2, Air 2S, and just bought Mavic 3. I'm planning on selling Air 2 and Air 2S, but will keep Mini 2. Small form factor is amazing, you can fly over people now per FAA regulations (assuming you pass part 107 exam, which is not that hard). I always take Mini 2 as a secondary drone on vacations.

That's not the same combo. It's missing the two most important items outside of the core drone and that's the 2 additional batteries that the Fly More combo has. Those are 90 bucks a pop for new ones...

Great drone. It handles much better than a mini 1 or 2 will just because it's a larger size. I had the mini 1, air 2 and now the air 2s.

Well this is hard to pass up. Been contemplating purchasing the refurb from DJI for $729, but for the same combo brand new this is a no brainer.

Does anyone know what kind of warranty it comes with? The refurb comes with 2 years, not sure about this one.

I ordered the Mavic 2 as well. F'en impulse buys for the lose. At least Woot returns are allowable through January lol.

For the average person the air 2 is more than enough. If you are serious about photography and want to do something with your pics then get the air 2S. The camera is that much better, especially in low light. If you are just going to get it for fun or maybe post pics on a site like Instagram that's going to compress the pics anyway then the air 2 is great.
