I own a "boutique" RV microfiber company; we've been around since 1997.
The more polyamide a towel has, the softer it will feel. But with more softness comes less durability.
A 70/30 blend is good for washing or polishing. An 80/20 blend is better for washing or drying.
If your towels Polyester (the first number) becomes greater than 80, say 85/15...you shouldn't really use that type of towel on a clear coat finish. Too much polyester may cause swirl marks in the finish.

I'd spend the money on Costco and/or the Rag company towels! My chemical guys towels didn't last more than a couple months(and i used their mf wash detergent).

CG towels always lint and fall apart after a few washes. I recommend spending a little more and get high quality towels from The Rag Company. Some of my oldest towels are from them, 10 years and still soft as the day I got them. A good quality mf detergent is recommended.

The Rag Company borderless towels made in South Korea are the best. They are expensive, but they are the best. I don't like the nylon border on these CG towels, especially for car waxing/polishng. Nylon = scratches. Look for the most expensive towels at the Rag Company, I believe they're Eagle something...

I came to terms with trying to chase down the best towel, and feel that with proper washing with MF detergent and drying on low that the Costco MF towels are just fine.

They are realistically fine for 99% of auto detail enthusiasts , where as the 1% that are detailing high end cars need high end towels.

IMO you would get more impactful results (and less paint damage) from using two buckets and grit guards than worrying about the towels material composition percentages and whatnot.

Nylon and Polyamide are both polymers- technically the same component. Any quality microfiber towel that has Polyamide in it...has Nylon, and won't scratch, as it is softer than Polyester. (Polyester, for simplicity, is spun plastic.)

I done screwed up and used the Costco towels on my jet black. I also think the dealer wash left it with horribly swirl marks, it's a mess.. I can see lines of scratches everywhere. Jet black is one of Best colors when clean but shows every single dust and scratch.
Do you have any suggestions, please help.

I only use Meguires quick detailer which is a nice product but doesn't help remove swirl.

Meguires does make a "swirl remover" that is supposed to help with scratches/swirl marks. If the marks are deep, you could use a Compound polish. If they are mostly just surface (most towel scratches are not deep), then you can use a Polishing compound.

Use a "plush microfiber" towel; these are generally edgeless, and are 450+ GSM. (Some places may call them a buffing towel.) But that type of towel is only used for waxes/polishes- you shouldn't wash or dry with them.
