There are lots of health and beauty items that are counterfeit on Amazon. Read the reviews and you will see that consumers are getting shafted by low quality bootlegs. I have been burned by Olay and a few others. I buy most skin care/ shampoo/ and health products from other stores now.

I used to love this brand with the blue color (gel like) that went on clear and worked all day. They apparently got rid of it and went back to white sticks that don't work as well so I have to find a new brand.

Gillette cool wave gel works well but is getting pretty expensive these days

YMMV...my local Walgreens had the Stain Defense Fresh on clearance for 3.69. Coupon for $7 off worked as well. Walked out the store with 2 of them for $.92 total. Add to that the other mechanisms people have mentioned for cash back and I'll be making money.

Yup. Avoid personal care products from Amazon, even if "shipped and sold" by Amazon. That includes shaving razor refills. There is too many incidents like this for it to be a fluke

It might be because of the 2% prepared tax that many villages have in the burbs. MCD app probably doesn't add that.

As for the Walgreens tax, I believe Illinois law requires tax on the precoupon price.
