He said it since many blocking apps use similar open source databases. Anyway. The Slickdeals redirect links have tracking built in, so that usually gets blocked. Usually it's jdoqaqsy dot com or some similar nonsense.
Great prices. I have the 2XR model, and it's great. I would never get the SR models because of their very flat bass response. I'm not a huge bass head, but I like the level from the XR models. I don't use it that often though because I prefer over ear headphones for use at home and wireless for portable use. Good sound from it requires deep insertion, and it takes some getting used to.
Those ear tips remind me of earplugs but how well do they do with blocking out surrounding noise?
Noise blocking works great! I've been using Etymotic for over 10 years in the gym when doing cardio to block out noise from all the treadmills/bikes/etc in the area. I'm thus able to play & enjoy music at a lower volume which I feel protects my ears.
From what I've read they block out sound pretty well, but these are also inserted deeper into the ear than most other earphones.
Yes. I could never get used to these - you need a good seal with earbuds to get the best sound (and block out noise) and these ear tips never worked for me. They had to be inserted so far it was uncomfortable, and they'd come loose pretty quickly too. I have smaller ear canals than most people, YMMV.

Used to have these some years back. Excellent in blocking out noise; and excellent sound reproduction of music. However I got tired of feeling like my ear canals were getting invaded. Been very happy with Bose ear phone design since then.

from what i read in the past, these are quite excellent at it. i also use memory foam tips for extra comfort and noise blocking
'Noise Isolation: 35dB using silicone ear tips, 42dB using foam ear tips'

They're super light, though if you're not used to deep inserting eartips, this might not be your cup of tea.
