very good deal for the 3/4

we've had the 1hp L-8000 for 10 years! Didn't know it's been that long, looked at order wss looking. a replacement for our daughter's crap InSinkErator.

did have a clue its been that long, says a lot for us, used heavy. Replaced the same incrapoator at the time.

got it from a deal posted here as well.

the 1hp is on sale for $97 if you need the extra and better warranty, both have excellent warranties though 8 years and lifetime respectively)

Remember that if you have a septic system that a garbage disposal might not be optimal. Also you can always try composting.

I really recommend these Waste King units. They are better than a lot of others on the market and much better than anything a builder puts in a new house. However, they are much larger than a lot of others so be sure to check the space before ordering.

Got the 1HP years ago from a SlickDeal and it is still ticking along. I took the chance to rip all the pipes out under the sink and fix the previous owner's horrible plumbing and have not had another issue. Under 100 is a great price for the 1 HP.

Lowes has the 1/2 HP L-2600 for $50 (DOTD). Not sure if it's worth the extra $20 for the 3/4 HP one in this deal.
