I used to order a lot in the late 90's, early 2000's. Shipping costs were usually the barrier, and I would say they were a bit slower to ship than what I had expected at the time, but never had an issue overall. They would mail their catalogs to offices, was quite an event laugh out loud The catalogs were huge. On facebook their rating is 4.4 out of 5 (2,900 reviewers), but yes there are some neg reviews there as well. But I would say that is true for many companies...I think more people take time to write a bad review vs a good one. Its newer companies with bad reviews that get my spidey sense tingling. I will probably order some gift tags on this offer myself, so I will see too!

are cast iron skillets that cheap? I got 2 for gift and may keep one. My mom likes cornbread but I do find most mixes to be too salty.

I knew that, I thought I'd ask just in case. Macy's has terrible reviews too, but I've never had any major issues with them.

Just ordered one! My dear old dad has wanted a cast iron skillet forever now, and this one is cheap enough for him to use a few times before he destroys it!

Thanks for this. I passed up a small one at a garage sale for $3 and regretted it. This one is a better deal with the mix. Sweet mixes were sold out, though.
