-IS the Endurance card objectively better for the task? Yes.
-Does Samsung publish endurance figures for the Evo and other non-Endurance cards? Not that I know of.
-Does Samsung publish endurance figures for the Endurance cards? Yes
-Does Samsung warranty the cards for 5 years with certain write limits? Yes
Some endurance cards are actually MLC cards ("Transcend's high endurance microSDXC/SDHC card is built with high-quality MLC NAND flash chips to withstand up to 12,000 hours of Full HD video recording*,"). Again, objectively better than Evo and other non-endurance cards.
I've been in one accident where the dash cam paid for itself many times over (was rear ended pretty badly by some stupid @SShole, and my car hit the car in front of me as a result). I've also provided dash cam video for two other accidents voluntarily. I'd rather have a Samsung Endurance, Transcend High Endurance, or SanDisk High Endurance in my dash cams.
Chances of Evo or similar failure? Maybe low...
What you stand to lose if the accident or event you needed captured is NOT captured due to card failure? Potentially a SH!TLOAD of money, time, stress, anger, etc.
For the small difference in price, an endurance type of card is well worth it in my opinion. Either way, I hope your cards continue to function well. Good on anyone for having a dash cam, choice of micro SD card aside!

"Better" in this case is relative. The endurance cards are ideal for use in dashcams (where reliability is paramount) since they're constantly being written to. The one you posted would crap out pretty quickly in that scenario, as I understand it. But I'm sure it would be just fine for use in less intensive scenarios.

I like to think about it from a risk vs. reward point of view. CAN the Evo cards, and other cards work in a dash cam without issue for some time? Sure. Your anecdotal experiences support that.
