Thank you for this. I have 2 watches I needed to buy for gifts. One for my wife and one for my mom. Been back and forth on the series 7, but hoping for a deal on the 6 as I have that one and love it. Anyone on the fence about which one to get, unless you're dead set on the larger screen size, the series 6 is great device.

If you don't want the oxygen sensor, the ECG/EKG sensors and the U1 chip…then shouldn't matter. Those are exclusive to series 6

Staples just had blue series 6 44mm for $279 in their pre Black Friday ad. I had Best Buy price match at the time. Seems like that was a great deal compared to now.

New Watch user long time iPhone owner. I didn't think to need/want one but got a second hand series 6 to try and wow does it take away the need to pick up your phone for mundane tasks. Pretty awesome. Good deal if you're on the fence.
