Thanks. Decided against using the $5 by too much headache.

I bought 8 of these from different sources. 4 from BB, 2 Newegg, and 2 from WD. From past forums its better to buy these from different sources with respect to hdd failure. Different batches or lot numbers to avoid all drives failing at same time.

For BB is the "recycling" savings in store only? I'm too lazy to drive to BB even if for a respectable return. I dunno.. amazon spoiled me silly and I work too much to care. Plus COVID issues.

Same for me in the past. I used a code that the retailer had emailed me which was more than the cash back site was offering and they denied my cash back. Happened a couple of times so now I don't use a coupon that wasn't available on the cash back site.

Used the $5 off coupon and now regretting it in fear of getting cb canceled. Tried to cancel online, but says it's already shipped, which isn't true since I ordered only 30 minutes ago. Guess I'll look at cb in the morning to see if it has been honored. If not, guess I'll try to call to cancel.

On another note, has anyone tried to do multiple orders with WD? Would like to order more than 2, especially with the 20% cb.
