Not true, most games are like 1 GB each, with exceptions like Walking Dead that is like 8GB? Plenty of space for a casual gamer for just games.

I'd say Amazon one with $50 gift card is better than this. You'd get double the storage and also new.

Yea you should be able to, but if you yourself haven't gotten the credit before, why don't you get it? Note that once your account refers your wife's account, your account will probably no longer be able to accept referral, only giving out referral from there onwards.

Thanks the the PayPal reminder! Bought this deal but will return when it comes. Bought from Best Buy…$300-$50 BB credit - $25 PayPal offer - $30 oculus credit = $195. Easy to use the credits so double the GB and new for slightly cheaper then this $199 deal.

I don't have the PayPal deal, but I have 6% CB and 5% Discover so even with tax this is a much cheaper deal. Everyone with referral link gets $30 credit so not really a factor. I don't recall if BB credit can buy amazon gift cards otherwise stuck to BB prices.

I can't help but to think that the 1 year warranty, provided by Oculus, is a sign that these may actually just be clearance units being labelled as refurbished units.

I'll find out Thursday when I receive the item and take a close inspection at how it looks in its package and look at the plastic and rubber/styrofoam pieces.

Also, if somebody gives you a referral, you also end up getting the $30 referral credit at the Oculus store.

$199.99 after taxes is $216. Whereas $299,99 after taxes is $325.

Medal of Honor: Above and Beyond didn't necessarily review all that well, with a 66 Metacritic score, so there's no real pressing need to have 128GB of space when the best-reviewing Oculus exclusive is Resident Evil 4 VR, and non-Oculus games can be purchased and run off of my PC through AirLink (assuming you have a powerful-enough PC rig, like I currently do).

We'll see how good or not-good that headset looks.

FYI. Just tried the $25 off Best Buy deal and everything went through like it should as far as getting the $25 off. Didn't really need a gift card to BB but I figure there is something that my kids would want from there for Christmas so wouldn't be too bad. Requested cancellation on my Walmart order and, about 10 minutes later, got a cancellation for the Oculus from Best Buy for no reason. Refunded my money but that essentially killed my ability to use the $25 off offer going forward now. Not sure what the deal is with Best Buy this year but this was the second order I've had cancelled with them today for no real reason. Bought the first item today from Target instead so I guess I'll just reorder this with Walmart again as I'm done with BB for the season.

Had heard that quest could be activated without fb so picked one up last month from bb.
ended up returning it:
- requires download of oculus smartphone app to activate, so you need a smartphone, and it said my android was too old and google play would not download.
- requires fb account.
search online, tried to work around these issues, using a tablet instead of phone, and android developer emulator on linux, but still needed fb account.
not willing to give up my privacy to metaburg, especially why do they want to be on your smartphone.

never had to do any of this with oculus go i had tried a couple years ago, and still had my oculus web account from then, but could not use it to activate either.
