Waiting for the PowerBlock Elite EXP to hit $299 (or less). Then I'll bite.

Is it worth paying $55 more for the "Elite" model on Amazon?

https://www.amazon.com/POWERBLOCK...028&sr=8-2

I'm looking for a little bit higher weight and I'm not sure if it's worth getting these and expanding them or just holding out for a set that goes higher from the start.
Quote from beardlessTcash :
No, read the first review. Those are not expandable either.
They literally say EXP in the title of the product. THEY ARE EXPANABLE. LMAO

these aren't expandable, why buy these? how is this not bottlenecking you of you're a normal, healthy 135lb+ male that's over 18 years old? you'd be maxing out in under 6 months.
because not everyone is a "normal, healthy 135lb+ male that's over 18 years old"

women, men over 60, rehabbing patient, light workouts wanted....etc...

gotta love the one size fits all person who thinks everybody is just like him

Is this your gimmick?

You've posted this (or someone with the same phrasing) in every one of these threads.

Also if some buys an expandable weight kit and can max them out for every exercise size in 6 months. They should get in touch with the scientific community, cause that's one hell of a feat.

Or they're on steroids.

correct, there are humans that are not male, 135+ lbs, 18+ years old. And if you're outside of that groupset, then something like this that doesn't expand above 50lbs will work very well for you!

I bought a pair of these just before the pandemic, love love love them! Originally bought the "expandable" version that I returned because that stupid 2.5lb increment was a huge PITA because you have to constantly put in and take out the little 2.5lb cylindrical weight. And who needs 2.5lb increments anyway? I've always used 5lb increments at the gym when switching dumbbells. Remember the KISS rule (Keep It Simple, Stupid!).

Read the first review. You can't find any expansion kits for the 2020 model. Buy it and let us know what expansions work.

Several of the reviews say they bought the expansion sets no problem. The ones on amazon are expandable. Stop spreading miss information.

I want to help the community who may be new to working out or powerblocks. 50lbs is very low for any 18+ year old, not malnourished, 135+ lbs, male. if this triggers you, that satisfies me. who can't max out 50lbs on any exercise after working out for 6 months if you're not disabled of some sort?
Max what out homie? Which exercise? I've been an incredibly athletic, rugby playing 185lbs at 5'11 and I never curled 50+lbs, I don't do tricep extensions with 50+lbs, I don't do side and front shoulder raises with 50+lbs. Not everyone lifts the way you do, AND crazy as it may seem, some people have different pieces of equipment for different things.

See I can warm up chest and shoulder with the blocks and then bench with an Olympic bar. I can use these for walking exercises, back exercises, hip exercises. Should I go on? Gatekeeping thick bro here.

Dang, you're right! Third party websites like Dick's. I was checking Amazon and Powerblock's. My fault!

Someone that uses DB for decline bench, incline or flat, DB squats, walking lunges, or shoulder presses, could, conceivably max these out in 6-8 months with good effort. If they are expanded to 70 or 90, then we're talking 12-16 months.

In for a set. Worst case scenario I can sell in a year for $150 if I out grow these. A lot of home gym guys on youtube have adjustable for up to 50 then get regular hex for above that due to most heavier exercise you needing to drop the weights sometimes. Seems like a good deal, thanks for the heads up OP.

Right, so don't use it for that and get an Olympic bar? Again different equipment for different exercises. You don't just use dumbbells at a Gym right?

Best deal I can find on exp 90 sets is 20% off @ dicks. Everything still goes for MSRP but you can do 10% off signup code + 10% from CB site. Or just buy locally for cheaper if youre lucky
I wish dick sells the pro exp. 😞 still can find any sales on the pro exp anywhere. Powerblock site doesn't even offer free shipping so will costs $600 for stage 1 alone.
