Amazon mixes their inventory with other sellers, which may leave you with a fake. With Apple products, I stay away from Amazon and buy from Best Buy or Apple directly. Verizon was also a safe bet since I'm sure they didn't buy they're inventory from Amazon. Just my opinion though.
