To my surprise, this is a DC motor fan at a great price. Very energy efficient with better than average airflow.

Anybody has experience with LED light ceiling fans? I heard when the LED light went out, you can't change the bulb and has to change the whole lighting unit. More fans now has LED lights. Need to replace my ceiling fan in the great room. Don't want to have to replace the fan in a few years when the LED light is out.

I picked one of these up the others day, came with 2 replaceable LED bulbs.

MRP should be above $300 for these types of fans
