Awesome! I've been looking for some great stocking stuffers
B&B is better and like $10/20lb at lowes
Considering it's a $1 a pound while the competition briquettes are about 37.5 cents a pound is thus really 3x better.

I bought this deal in the past FYI the chunks aren't as big as they advertised. Would I buy again? Probably not unless it was cheaper

I bought 8 bags last year and the lump size is somewhat inconsistent but I still think it is the best deal you will find on quality lump charcoal. Thanks OP.

Last time I purchased it from Costco all 4 bags were all but small pieces. I would stay clear of this deal.

Thanks OP! Ordered. Great standard lump charcoal for my ceramic grill. Agree that the distribution of chunks can be non-uniform, but the mass/$ for medium to large grills (which can even out the distribution) is hard to beat. Just gotta think about this South American trees...

You can't compare hardwood to briquettes. This burns hotter and lasts longer. Using briquettes is actually contraindicated in a Kamado style cooker due to the chemicals.

B&B burns smoker and not as hot. The bags I bought off the shelf has been smaller chunks vs KJ @ Lowes in store.

Hope you don't store any gasoline in there if you are lighting fires in your garage a lot.
