Seems there was a $20 gc also added for this combo, is that expired ?

Edit: $20 gc is for 6qt, comes out to $87 with $20 gc

I just bought this from Amazon for $20 more. Customer service verified they will ship me a new, cheaper copy of what I just purchased, which I will then immediately return to UPS, where Amazon will pay to ship it back to them again. Then, Amazon will pay me the higher price of last week's purchase. I may even get some no rush credits out of it. At no point will I lose my ability to use this item in the interim.

The stupidity here affects me significantly.

How is the air fryer function? My wife has wanted an air fryer but she mentioned this combo unit might not be as good as a dedicated air fryer? She already uses an instant pot regularly and really likes the pressure cooker.

Agree it is crazy that Amazon doesn't do price adjustments within a specified time window. I guess they figure most people won't go through the effort to do the return.

Confuses me as well. Also, if you ask nicely, they may even give you a $5 gift card for the inconvenience of doing the return.

It's good. I've never had a dedicated air fryer, but everything we've put though this has turned out great. Smaller portions though. I need to figure out if we can use the trivet to add another cooking layer and increase output. We also haven't used the larger stainless pot for air frying yet, but it seems you can; it's just a matter of taking the lid off and turning whatever is inside so you get an even cook.

I guess the way I see it is: If you could use another instant pot, this is the one to get.
