It's the internet…every product has at least a couple bad reviews. This has a 4 star overall rating. I've owned numerous RL blankets I bought from Macy's (not this kind, though, the cotton variety) and they are great.

Some of the reviews are horrible. Personally, I had bought couple of cheaper items from Lauren Ralph Lauren in the past, and they were not even worth the price I paid.

If the reviews are anything about the lint this throws.. They might be right.. I remember buying something similar a couple of years back.. It was horrendous.. Like, green lint everywhere.. Even after multiple washes..

People complain about a non animal blanket.... the solution? Go back to killing Mink and making blankets out of them. I wouldn't doubt some people in the mink industry leaving bad reviews to keep their industry afloat. 😉

Had purchased 1 about 5 years ago for $20 and another about 3 years ago for $20 as well. Regret buying both. Ready to donate them at goodwill. These are really low quality, super shedders. Lauren by RL is their low grade brand.

This is just a guess but based on my own experience in life I've noticed many people tend to put everything in the washer and just push start without being careful about temps or anything. Some blankets need cooler temps and some can't be put in the dryer. If there is excessive lint I'd guess the solution is to air dry.

I've had one for a year. I sleep with it every night and wash it frequently and its still like new. Buying another one now.

Ok, you guys convinced me to go back and check my order, and right, it was LRL, but not plush blanket, but a cotton one. Which is definitely something to run away from. I take my opinion back about this one.
