I can't decide between this and an Inspiron with same specs just Inspiron had a bigger and higher res screen but 60hz. The 165hz I got on the g15 is very nice to have. I'll be doing everything from media light modeling and gaming.

Are you referring to the Inspiron 16 Plus. If so, I got that over this deal for about the same price and got it delivered yesterday. So far I am in love. The 3060 is only 60w so quite a bit less powerful than this G15 but the build quality and screen real estate are so impressive.

Nothing wrong with this G15 though. For the money, probably one of the best 3060 deals out there if you want a gaming first laptop.

Yes thats the exact one i am thinking about, good to hear. How much did you end up paying. I got a top spec other than 16vs 32gb and paid $865. The inspiron is coming out to around 200$ more.

I got the black friday special on the outlet that came to 1027 out the door after tax. I got 134 cash back (15%) so my net was $893. Quite a lot for an inspiron but having owned several XPS machines, this is darn close to that level of quality.
