I've used mine at least twice a week for over a year on my note 9. I have had no issues with my USB c port being affected.

I just returned mine to Amazon because I agreed with the other commenters that it puts pressure on the USBC connection of the phone. I'd say only buy this if you have a cheaper phone to use it with.

These are fun when they work, but they put so much pressure on the type C port that they tend to stop connecting after a while. I ended up getting a motorola phone just to use with mine, so it wouldn't completely kill my type c port, and I could just leave the phone in there all the time. It's a good idea, but wish they had thought through the mounting system a little better. I wouldn't recommend these for a daily driver phone.

I think it puts pressure on the usbc port if you are holding it intermittently with one hand, from the end that the usbc port is.
I also got a cheap phone to use it with though.

It's great for emulators Smilie
I don't know if there's anything other than being an Xbox Game Pass subscriber required to use it, but I use mine w/ Xbox Cloud Gaming Beta often. If you have a solid internet / mobile data connection, it works great for the most part: https://www.xbox.com/en-US/play

I use the "Xbox" version w/ a Pixel 4a 5G, FWIW.

A few recommended (compatible) Android games:

are there any actual differences between the two? they both seem to have the same model number, so why go for the more expensive one?

edit: ah, looks like they _are_ the same, just different condition (seller refurb aka used vs open box)?

On my pixel 3a it's worked everytime work no issues many times. With my OnePlus s8 -- since day one, it's difficult to get a connection. I think some phones have looser USB c ports

I have one of these for iPhone. Feels almost exactly like holding a Switch controller (dimensionally). Decently built but I wouldn't say it has the best quality. Buttons are suitably clicky. If your phone has a back made of glass, be careful of scratching. Will not work with a case if you have a larger phone.

Thank you.. I held off based on your comment. I also have a Galaxy S21 Ultra with Otterbox case and it's kind of a pain to remove case so it fits Kishi anytime I want to play. I may just buy one of those controller phone mounts.

I am so glad I bought one of these a year or so ago. This + Stadia is like what a Nintendo Switch Pro should look like.
