Thanks I may pick this one up as well - looks good. I had no clue what an E-marker chip was and now I've been educated. Looks like all "100W rated" cables should have an E-marker chip. If not, then most likely not going to be pulling 100W. Fascinating, thanks!
I just picked up these instead that are rated to 100 watts. They are only 480 Mbps on data transfer, like the Anker, but have a higher rating and internal chip for the current.
It seems like a reasonable price. If they don't work as advertised, I will have to return them, but they should charge almost anything.

I have this cable for almost 2 years and it really has held up well! It doesn't seem to charge super fast though. Just pretty standard speed Even when connected to a 25 w Belkin usb-c charger. Takes almost 2 hours for the pixel 6 🤔
It normally takes around 1:40 minutes to 2 hours to fully charge the Pixel 6 from all of the reviews I read, as I'm looking at one for myself. The Pixel 6 Pro will take a bit longer than the 6.
They do not charge quickly. There are lots of articles on this, but check this one out:
No idea how Google could have screwed this up this badly. Freakin' OnePlus had 30w charging back on their 7T, have had a 65w on their 8T released last year, and Xiaomi has a 65w wireless charger. There's no reason that Google shouldn't be able to figure out how to eke out something better than 22w, considering they have offered 18w charging for years now.
It's the Belkin - BOOST↑CHARGE 25W PPS Wall Charger which was highly rated. I will have to try it with another wire later and compare
That Belkin charger should be fine. I think they're just rebranding another company's charger. The Pixel 6 has a 4600 mAh battery, that's a lot to charge up. The Pixel also switches to an extremely slow charge mode once it hits 70% because charging over 70% is the most damaging to a battery. My Pixel 6 Pro with 5000mAh battery takes about 2 hours to reach 100%. However, it reaches 50% in the first 30 minutes.
The charger and the cable aren't at fault here, Google is. But Google is doing it for a good reason.
Also consider whether you really need to always charge past 70%. Stopping at 70% can really extend the usable lifespan of your battery.
Since I can charge 0-50% so fast, I don't worry about keeping my battery topped off anymore. I've found that 50% on the Pixel 6 Pro really lasts a long time as long as I keep the brightness at reasonable levels.
tldr: blame (thank?) Google and not Belkin or Anker

i get the 'bigger is better' consumer instinct when it comes to charging wattage and manufacturers are just pumping out products to meet the demand, but after doing a bit of reading/research on the topic i find that i prefer lower wattage. lower wattage = lower temperature which is better for battery life. i seldom find myself in a situation where i need to charge my device as quickly as possible due to a time constraint. especially for my laptop computer which is plugged in almost all day long (with a charge limiter that disengages battery charging at 75% mind you).
i cancelled an order for the 100w cable and got these instead. if anything, i will use this cable to nerf my 96w power adapter because i don't want to charge that quickly.
for my phone - i went back to using the OG 5w apple charging brick. the slow charging lets me monitor the charge more easily and lets me unplug it when it reaches 70-80%. with fast charging i find that it reaches 100% too quickly before i can unplug it.
i do carry a high wattage charger while traveling when it is useful to charge quickly; at the airport, say.

How fast does the 100w stuff even charge? I was thinking about getting a charger like that but they are pretty expensive.

For a few bucks more, you can get USb-C to USB-C cables that support USB 3.1 speeds.
Pass.

i don't know... fast. the whole point of my comment was to say that if you don't care about charging speed than lower wattage is better.
