Genuine question - is selectblinds quality better than Lowes or another big box store? I'm getting almost identical pricing at both places for faux wood blinds

I have bought blinds at Lowe's and SelectBlinds. I would say you can get very nice blinds at both locations. I think the same quality will be much cheaper that elsewhere, especially with this sale. You get a better warranty with SelectBlinds.

I'm a big Lowe's fan so for me to point to a competitor says something.

I am a first time home buyer(new construction) and completely new to blinds shopping. Can you please suggest me if I can measure and buy blinds myself from Lowe's or HD and DIY. Is it very difficult to DIY?

Their warranty and customer service is great. Had a few issues and one probably not even their fault they replaced my entire shade with just a few photo proof to their customer service.

Bought on Friday, they were able to adjust the price for me. Will be an interesting project, first time since I bought a place that I'm taking on a more serious project than switching out outlets and light switches

This does seem to be (as they describe) their best deal of the year. 50% off + 5% off or 52.5% off PLUS extending the warranty for an additional 2 years (5 total).

Mostly adding this for historical purposes as there really are only about 7 hours left on this. (But keep in mind, as has been mentioned earlier, if you want this deal but are unable/unwilling to commit right now, order a sample and that'll lock in the deal for 30 days.)

If you're installing blinds for the first time, especially INSIDE mount, make sure you have enough room at the top to actually install them...inside. We have new windows in our older home, but when they installed them, they only left about 1/2" for an inside mount.

I had to install a 2" PVC header in order to hang inside mount blinds. It's fine and barely noticeable, but if you aren't ready for it, it's a shock! Also, if you're getting wider blinds, the top piece/brackets might require a bit of room to install.

if the price is almost the same for middle men. i dont see how this is a good deal.
