It is not just the brand. They are better quality than most candles out there. They burn slowly and give better scent. Yes you can buy cheaper from Marshall, Dollar Store or wherever but they smell like shit and last few seconds Wink

Good price. Still deciding whether to keep my Balsam & Cedar Amazon order. Usually my favorite, but the ones from the Boscovs deal aren't very potent.

Indeed. My daughter, who is a candle aficionado, has said the same thing - go with Yankee, they don't suck like the cheap crap.

You get what you pay for, in this case at least.

Yankee Candle has no quality control. You can get a candle that smells so nice and then the next smells like nothing. Sometimes they get horrible wicks that just burn a hole right down the center and leave half the wax.

I go with Kringle, I bought a bunch for $8 during the pandemic and they are all $14-15 now. Plus there scents are sometimes exactly the same as Yankee Candle as they use the same formula, but better quality ingredients.

It is very well known fact that Amazon, Walmart and many other online store who allow reseller to sell stuff have zero quality control and they sell fake candles.
