The display was smashed all along the left edge and cracked along the bottom edge too. Wouldn't power on, not that it would've mattered.
Sadly its now out-of-stock so they couldn't send a replacement but on the bright side, their support was very easy to deal with. They approved my refund within 18 hours after I emailed them photos of the damage, packaging, and serial number label.
Now to figure out what to do with this broken TV... I guess I'll sell it for parts so someone can repair theirs.
