Things to consider: if you're tall skinny, and you've ever had issues with buying a large but the sleeves pulling up when you raise your arms, your actually a large-tall... This realization will change your life. These jackets come in tall sizes. They are not waterproof, but insulate amazingly. You can crush them down and roll it to the size of a Chipotle burrito. Great for keeping in your backpack or car; amazing for travel. I live in Buffalo and used to travel to Florida for work trips during the winter. This jacket was a godsend becuase I could still have a jacket to and from the airport, but didn't have to pack a lot when in FL. An enzyme cleaner will clean these perfectly (HEX or tide sport) honestly, for $40, these make great presents if you can get them before Christmas. Either way, I can't say enough good about them.

I got this last deal, about 2(?) weeks ago. It has not shipped yet. I ordered a XL Tall if it matters. My order says, "Pre-order item expected to ship on or before 12/26/2021."

My working assumption is those who order today will have a similar shipping date.

Might not be a good choice for a christmas gift, unless worth it as a late christmas gift.

Are these warm? They just seem too thin to actually keep you warm. I want to buy one but if it does nothing against the cold it's not worth the money or time waiting.

I ordered a Tall medium and it came it about 7 days or so. As others mentioned it is a "pack jacket" that is relatively thin. Good for 50-60 degree weather or layering if colder.

I'm 6'4" 200 lbs and the tall medium fit very well

Can anyone answer this for me... I'm looking at the Black and in the first pic, the jacket appears to be matte but the 2nd and 3rd pics, the jacket appears to be shiny. So is it shiny or not? TIA

It was the same deal last year as well. I ordered one last year but it never shipped. I called CS & they were not helpful. I had a very bad experience with their online shopping & CSR. So after a month I called PayPal & explained the issue. PayPal stepped in, escalated & refunded me. Not sure if their online shopping experience has improved since last year but I will never buy online from them. I would rather buy in store. Finally I purchased one at Costco at same price. It is thin but keeps warm. I am happy with it.

Edit: googling is also giving me the impression that it's a lighter weight (not as warm).

This is exactly what I'm looking for so I appreciate the review. I wanted something packable for hikes when space comes at a premium for long day trips.

I purchased several sizes and colors, but they're for me so I'm not in a situation where I'm buying for someone else and shipping time matters, so I'll rep so long as you're looking for yourself.
