Just bought CM401 for $95.
Not sure what the difference is between that and CP301, but it's my first coffee maker, so don't want additional bells & whistles for now.

I had that one for a few years and now I have this one. I would 100%, every time, get the one posted here over the CM401. If you can swing the extra $25 I would get this one hands down.

What about the CP301 makes you like it a lot more than the CM401? They seem to be pretty similar in features.

I had that one for a few years and now I have this one. I would 100%, every time, get the one posted here over the CM401. If you can swing the extra $25 I would get this one hands down.
Maybe it's just me, but no matter what coffee I brew in this thing it is super bitter/acidic. I ordered an aeropress hoping for an upgrade lol.
