Can you stack edu and cashback from 3rd party sites? I thought you couldn't.

The Legion 7i is better all around and can be configured exactly like this for $2220 before discount ($10 cheaper than this). In fact you could configure it with 16GB of RAM for $2110 and upgrade the RAM on your own.

If you're not keen on TB4 and the PCIe 4.0 m.2 slot the AMD versions are cheaper still.

The only drawback is that it's not ready to ship so you'll have to wait several weeks to months to receive it.

Good tip, except my ETA was: "Ships in 4+ months"

I tried config 5 and 7, too bad those machines either waiting for 4 months+ to ship or only one config ready to ship is 3060.

And compare to 5i and 7i, AMD version lacks TB4, PCIE4.0 ssd and overraly throttle on GPU performance due to 8x PCIE 3.0 lanes. 11800H is a lot better in gaming than 5800H due to this cutback from AMD. (They should be call Zen 2.5 frankly, neither L3 cache or PCIE lane match it's desktop brethren, totally PR stunt from AMD) Also, Only plus for AMD version is battery life.

I personally like 7i, but the icue software issue scares me.

Do you know if RTX 3070 (140w) or 90w or lower?

LHR OR NON-LHR?

I assume if you order today you'll get that 15% even if Lenovo doesn't charge you today?

It won't let me add LEGIONDEALS20 because it keeps adding BFDAILYDEALS26 on its own which is lower

edit: nm, it worked now

edit: nm, now it won't let me add happy code if i'm using legion
