So I have this and have been continuously amazed at how well its done. We throw a blue tarp over it and stake that down on either side, camp in Colorado. It's withstood hail, high winds, and exceeded all expectations... But the tarp reinforcement shouldn't be downplayed.
It's a great cheap gettup for glamping. I run a space heater in it, air mattress, and a small chair/table combo. We've also played movies on the inside wall with a nebula and a white sheet.
I'm sure there's a threshold we're it would be totally destroyed, and I just haven't met it. But it's not the POS I thought it would be.
You could listen to a stranger in Colorado where there's mountains and probably knows how to properly pitch a tent or you could listen to Walmart reviews who probably bought it on a whim, know nothing about tents and use Walmart as a short term rental service. Either way you're listening to strangers and you really shouldn't be listening to me.
Fits 12 people but only 2 queen ai mattresses. Are all 12 people supposed to be under 5 ft?

Your review is great and I want it but Walmart reviews are mixed.

If you're using it for kids you can't expect them to be useful or even around during setup and takedown. Can 1 adult do it alone? What about 2? How long is the process on average?

Yeah they basically put the largest capacity they can just as a marketing ploy, as if everyone is sleeping tightly packed together like a package of hotdogs. Whatever the capacity says, cut it in half if not more for a somewhat more realistic figure of how many could sleep comfortably.

That sounds great!
What kind of heater do you run in the tent? Electric? Propane?

Be careful running an unvented space heater in closed space like tent
Unfortunately many people have died in such situations
