Thanks, this'll be the first Mortal Kombat I've played since the 90's. Hope I picked the best one! Different articles are a toss up between which one is better between MK 9, X, and 11.

I was in the same boat & played MKX a year or two ago. It was fun, but I'm not really into online matches. I just played the ladder/tower with a couple different characters & once I got better at the game & finished, I didn't really play it again. I also didn't feel compelled to play MK11 because I assume I'd burn out on it pretty quickly too.

If you are hardcore into online matching (or learning different combos for all of the characters) maybe pay >$20 for it, otherwise yeah I wouldn't pay more because you'll be done with it in a few weeks to a month.

Thanks for the perspective. I don't play online myself (didn't renew my XB Live after Diablo 3 got boring for me), and my Xbox otherwise picks up a lot of dust in between episodes of playing, so if the story/campaign is entertaining and I get a few weeks of play then it should be worth it!

It featured Scorpion and the "get over here" slogan.
Normally, the Gamepass Instagram won't post content not coming to GP.

Maybe second half of December. Since the first half releases didn't include it.
