Samsung 32" M5 LED Smart Monitor [bjs.com] - expired

Samsung CR50 Curved [bjs.com]

Costco had a nearly identical curved one for $199.99 until yesterday. Only difference is refresh rate was slightly higher, although BJ"s claims this model is 75hz as well.

This seems like a good deal for basic larger monitors. Obviously they are not high res, but $175 only gets you so much.

I bought the M5 just recently. I use it for about everything. Apple airplay is great. Still got the desktop computer but this a great value for 32" monitor with airplay and smart tv apps. Also, has it's own web browser.

M5 is 1080 vs M7 is 4K.. 1080p on 32" is not acceptable. M7 was available on Samsung website for $270 something

Agreed, 1080p on a 32" monitor has a pretty weak pixel density, you really want 1440p at minimum at 32".

Agree with your Agreed. I'm not a tech snob by any means, and this might work fine as a TV. However, viewed up close at the typical short viewing distance when used with as a monitor I think most people would be a lot happier with a 1440p. As an example, Costco currently has an IPS 1440p monitor for $199 ( https://www.costco.com/.product.100793227.html )

For those that wear glasses, this advice is especially important. You can't just move your eyeballs to see all four corners of the screen - you have to move your whole head, and this causes strain on your neck after a few hours. The alternative is to put the monitor farther away, but then you need new glasses dialed in for that distance.

Why is 1080p on 32" not acceptable? People without 20/20 vision would love this. Great for those would prefer not to sit right up close to the monitor.
